Clinical Examination
A physical examination is always done on a patient. One can never underestimate the art of a clinical exam. Physical signs and symptoms are an important part of the individual picture.

The following clinical tests are also done in an initial consultation:

Blood pressure and heart rate

Glucose
-
Cholesterol
-
Urine PH
-
Salivary PH
​
The following rapid point-of-care tests can also be done if needed:

Gluten intolerance test or Coeliac disease finger prick test
-
Detection of IgG Helicobacter pylori antibodies
-
Differentiation between Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and Inflammatory bowel disease
