Burnout is a state of emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress. It occurs when you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands.

Stressors play an important role in influencing mind, mood and behavior through activation of the Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Adrenal axis. The adrenal gland responds by releasing adrenalin or cortisol which impacts on almost every system in our body.

You cannot get well if your adrenals are sick. The stress protection hormone cortisol is necessary for brain, immune , muscle, fluid balance, and blood sugar  function. Too little or too much of this hormone such as in burnout, and you can experience pain, weight gain, bone loss, poor wound healing and hypertension.

Cortisol management is key to regaining health in any chronic illness.

-Personalised Stress assessment questionnaire to determine your individual stress response. Situational stress causing mood responses is different to prolonged stress causing psychological and physical changes. These are treated differently with high quality herbal preparations

-Bio-resonance assessment of whether the HPA response is over or under functioning, and whether this is affecting the neurotransmitters of the brain.

-Sleep patterns and lifestyle habits

-The Adrenal Fatigue Diet: Eating better to get you out of adrenal fatigue. Adrenal spikes and dips are linked to insulin control. Low GI is better, and stimulants should be avoided.
